Retzlaff

Gen 6:
Gustav H Retzlaff I was born Sep 1869 in Germany. He died between 1930 and 1962. He married Emma A Kienow about 1894. Gustav immigrated to the US in either 1883 (1930 Census, Stephenson Co., IL) or 1885 (1917 Farmer Directory, Stephenson Co., IL.)
Emma A Kienow was born Aug 1875 in Germany and died between 1930 and 1962. Emma immigrated to the US in April 1893 on the ship Weimar, her last residence listed as Jacobhahn Germany. She arrived in Baltimore MD and was headed for Freeport, Stephenson Co., IL.

Gustav and Emma had six children:

1. John E Retzlaff was born 15 Mar 1894 in IL and died Sep 1967 in IL.
2. George Retzlaff was born 08 Jul 1897 in Stephenson Co., IL and died 08 Jul 1897 in Carter Co., TN.
3. Agnes Renetta Retzlaff was born 08 Aug 1900 in Stephenson Co., IL and died 05 Mar 1973 in IL. She married Lloyd Allison Phillips 17 Jan 1917.
4. Rudolph Bruno Retzlaff was born 19 Mar 1909 in Stephenson Co., IL. See Generation 5 below.
5. Robert F Retzlaff was born 09 Apr 1910 in Stephenson Co., IL and died Feb 1975 in IL.
6. Wesley M Retzlaff was born 08 Jun 1912 in Stephenson Co., IL and died 27 Aug 1999 in IL.

Gen 5:
Rudolph Bruno Retzlaff was born 19 Mar 1909. He died 2 Mar 1972 and was buried in Orlando FL. Rud married Mildred Leona Keppen in 1928. He was a truck driver for a local dairy company.
Mildred Leona Keppen was born 16 Jul 1909 and died 23 Jan 1999. She was the daughter of Emma O Manthei and William Keppen.
